چکیده
A Generalized Langevin Model (GLM) formulation to be used in transported joint velocity-scalar probability density function methods is recalled order imply a turbulent scalar-flux model where the pressure-scrambling term correspondence with standard Monin's return-to-isotropy term. The proposed non-constant C0 extended seen-velocity models for particle dispersion modeling dispersed two-phase flows. This allows us correct wrong limit of tracer particles. Moreover, this have more general consider advanced Reynolds-stress models. cubic Fu, Launder, and Tselepidakis considered, together Merci Dick dissipation. Results are presented different swirling recirculating single-phase flows, showing capabilities GLM formulations compared GLM.

Turbulent mixing of a passive scalar
The statistically stationary state of a turbulently advected passive scalar is studied, with an imposed linear mean gradient in two dimensions, via a number of numerical experiments. For a synthetic Gaussian velocity field, which is generated by a linear stochastic process, and whose spectra and Eulerian correlation time follow Kolmogorov scaling on all scales, the exponents of the scalar spect...
متن کاملOn the anisotropy of the turbulent passive scalar in the presence of a mean scalar gradient
We investigate the origin of the scalar gradient skewness in isotropic turbulence on which a mean scalar gradient is imposed. The problem of the advection of an anisotropic scalar field is reformulated in terms of the advection of an isotropic vector field. For this field triadic closure equations are derived. It is shown how the scaling of the scalar gradient skewness depends on the choice of ...

متن کاملMixing of Scalar Glueball and Scalar Quarkonia
The isosinglet scalar mesons f0(1710), f0(1500), f0(1370) and their mixing are studied. Two recent lattice results are employed as the starting point; one is the approximate SU(3) symmetry in the scalar sector above 1 GeV for the connected insertion part without qq̄ annihilation, and the other is the scalar glueball mass at 1710 MeV in the quenched approximation. In the SU(3) symmetry limit, f0(...
